OCD needs an answer right now, huh? Maybe a quick pause will help you recognize OCD can wait!
Sometimes, OCD keeps itself right where it is by subtly (or not so subtly!) telling you that you both don’t deserve to feel better and cannot feel better. This is just another one of those OCD lies that keeps you locked in—it’s no more true than OCD telling you that the rituals are the only thing keeping you safe!
If we rely on the stereotypes, we won’t meet our own needs when it comes to seeking peace! Coping skills and self soothing skills are not one size fits all. #youdefineyou #copingskills #selfsoothingskills
