Danielle Bitner is a licensed professional counselor with over 15 years of experience in the counseling field. She has a passion for helping her clients achieve their goals so that they can live healthier lives. She has experience working with all age groups from 5 years of age to 65 and older. Danielle’s current practice focus is on the treatment of Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and other anxiety disorders. She also has experience working with Depression and providing Marital Counseling, Before her work with The Center for OCD and Anxiety, Danielle worked in a variety of mental health settings, including inpatient, residential treatment, and intensive outpatient programs.
Danielle’s therapeutic techniques include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectic Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP). She is client-centered and tries to meet the needs of each of her clients using a combination of these techniques. She finds fulfillment in treating OCD and other anxiety disorders because the evidence-based approaches show such positive results for her clients.
When Danielle is not providing therapy, she is spending time with her family. She enjoys relaxing with her husband and playing with her two kids.
