Senior Therapist, Telehealth

Therapy can be what you make of it but should also reflect what you need. With an extensive background in community mental health, providing an individualized approach to treatment is something important to Brittany. Utilizing a multifaceted person-centered approach to therapy, Brittany aims to meet her clients where they are in their treatment journey. Brittany will work together with you to take the necessary steps towards creating and living the life you desire and deserve.
During treatment, when emotions and experiences are hard to express through words, art-based approaches offer an alternative way for you to communicate. Art therapy can provide a safe outlet to release those feelings, while helping you gain insight and control of symptoms. As a Registered Art Therapist (AT-R), Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC), and Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) Brittany believes the therapeutic relationship is built on empathy, advocacy, and a little bit of humor.
As a transplant to the western Pennsylvania area, Brittany completed her bachelor’s degree at Frostburg State University of MD and Master of Arts in Art Therapy with a Specialization in Counseling at Seton Hill University PA. In her free time, you can find Brittany in the garden, rafting the Yough’, and spending time with her husband and daughter. She hopes to get to know you and support your therapeutic journey!
