Amber is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker specializing in the treatment of autism spectrum disorders, anxiety and OCD-related disorders. Amber strives to provide the most effective treatment for her clients through trauma informed, evidence-based practice rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention Therapy (ERP), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Family Systems.
Amber earned her Master of Social Work from the University of Pittsburgh after receiving her undergraduate degree in psychology from Ohio State University. Amber has 7+ years working with a wide range of ages, backgrounds, and diagnoses. Amber has worked in both mobile and outpatient settings to provide individualized treatment based on clients/families needs. Amber sees clients ranging from children to older adults, with a special focus on transition age and developmental concerns. Amber strives to listen without judgment and foster an environment of personal growth and victory over symptoms.
In her free time, Amber enjoys reading, creating art, spending time outside, socializing at coffee shops, and volunteering at local animal shelters.
