I am extremely excited to share that the OCD Foundation of Pennsylvania will be hosting Pittsburgh’s first annual 1 Million Steps 4 OCD Walk on June 3rd at 7:45am. The walk will be taking place along the beautiful Eliza Furnace Trail. Come out for a day of walking, conversing, and spreading awareness about OCD. Participants get a free t-shirt. And eats are also in the works!
By hosting this walk, Pittsburgh will be joining with cities across the country who will be hosting their own walks, and raising money and awareness for this important cause. You can even follow how much each city has raised here.
If you’d like to participate in the walk (or would like to donate money to the cause), you can follow this link for Pittsburgh Walk. One of the really fun options to consider is forming a team. If you work for an agency or a clinic, or just want to join up with friends, you can create a team, come up with a name, and see how much your group can raise for OCD. It’s a great way to add a little extra fun to the event.
I’m seriously looking forward to what is sure to be a great day. Hope to see you there too!
