In Need of Immediate Help?
The need for specialized treatment in our area is great and our Senior Therapists who can accept insurance are unfortunately booked for months. We do have a second option worth considering. Our Associate Therapists are providers who have obtained their master’s degrees but who are still fulfilling the requirement for supervised experience before they are licensed and can bill insurance. Through employing pre-licensed providers, we are able to directly and properly train a new wave of specialized therapists while also expanding the amount of treatment we can offer. Our Associate Therapists are skilled, compassionate, and knowledgeable professionals who are closely supervised on a weekly basis by our clinical supervisors, and who provide the same high-quality therapy that our Senior Therapists are known for. There is currently little to no wait for receiving therapy from an Associate Therapist. The catch is that our Associate Therapists can’t accept insurance, but we have set a fair price of $80/session for therapy with an Associate Therapist. If this sounds like a good option for you, click the Request Services button anywhere you see it on our website, and select “Open to Seeing an Associate Therapist’ when completing the form.

ERP, CBT, and ACT for OCD and Anxiety
We specialize in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Research has consistently shown that these approaches are the most effective therapy for OCD and OC Spectrum Disorders. We also incorporate aspects of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), a more recent approach based on advances in our understanding of how thoughts work that focuses on mindfulness strategies. If you would like more information on the specific therapies we employ, you can click on the following links.
Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP)
The evidence-based therapy for OCD based on “exposing” yourself to your triggers in manageable doses.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
An approach to therapy that focuses on releasing your commitment to exaggerated and distorted thoughts.
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
A therapy that focuses on accepting uncomfortable thoughts and feelings and learning to direct your attention towards what is most helpful in life.
